We are thrilled to share an exciting update from our English department! Mr. Mong Kin Yau, our English Panel Chairperson, recently had the honor of being invited to an educational seminar organized by the South China Morning Post (SCMP) Posties. His mission? To inspire English teachers across Hong Kong with creative ideas on incorporating newspapers into extracurricular activities.
 

Building upon the success of Mr. Mong’s insightful seminar, we introduced an exceptional English course in partnership with the SCMP in September 2022. And guess what? Due to its remarkable impact, we continued this incredible program this year!
 

Our students have truly embraced this transformative learning experience, demonstrating exceptional conduct, attentiveness, and diligence throughout the three-month weekend sessions. They have actively engaged in stimulating oral discussions, honed their writing skills, delved into captivating social issues, immersed themselves in riveting reading materials, and sharpened their listening abilities.
 

We applaud our extraordinary students for their insatiable thirst for knowledge and unwavering commitment to excellence. This course has not only broadened their understanding of significant social issues but has also nurtured their English language proficiency.
