Step into a world where English and the vibrant culture of China intertwine, where students embark on a remarkable adventure of Chinese culture and wonders. Our English Speaking Day on 22^nd February 2024, themed “English Tongues of China,” has sparked a wave of enthusiasm among students, igniting their passion for not only speaking English, but also our great motherland. With exciting topics ranging from festive traditions and iconic landmarks to beloved animated series “Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf” and “Boonie Bears” and China’s remarkable space exploration program, our English Speaking Day has proved to be a gateway to discovering the treasures and wonders of China while honing English-speaking skills.
 

With an infectious spirit of camaraderie, students eagerly conversed with one another and their teachers, exchanging their love, thoughts, and insights about these fascinating aspects of our motherland. The air was alive with laughter, curiosity, and a shared sense of discovery as students explored the multifaceted tapestry of China’s heritage.
 

The English Speaking Day was not just about enriching conversations - it was also a chance to embark on a quest for knowledge. Students collected stamps as they completed discussions on various topics, adding to the excitement and motivation. Hundreds of stamps collected on 22^nd February 2024 stands as a testament to the students’ remarkable dedication and enthusiasm for speaking English.
 

Four outstanding students even emerged as champions who successfully completed all the topics. These exceptional students will each be honored with an illuminated transparent trophy of a Chinese landmark, in addition to a surprise gift pack from the English Department. These awards aim not only to recognize their linguistic prowess but also celebrate their dedication to exploring and embracing the diverse facets of Chinese culture.
 

We eagerly anticipate future English Speaking Days, where the spirit of exploration and linguistic excellence will continue to thrive, shaping our students into confident global citizens!
